Donations & Service Learnin' |

Service Learnin’ is Learnin’, or game build, that’s awarded for providing services to Exiles, such as making donations, helping during events, or otherwise meeting the needs of the game and the game staff. Exiles is a non-profit organization, so it’s very helpful when the player base works to support the game! There is always stuff that the Staff team could use, so if you'd like to help out, and earn a little extra learnin', take a look at our donation needs! Does Service Learnin’ affect my Character’s Learnin’ Total? Service Learnin’ is separate from character learnin', but can be used for different things. Service learnin' is added directly to a player’s Learnin’ Bank, which is a record of the Learnin’ that a player has earned through game-play with any character. Increasing your Learnin’ Bank is an excellent way to gain access to Tier 1, 2, and 3 Persona characters, or buy access to hidden skills! The game staff’s needs are always changing, but you can check back here to find an updated list of the most pressing needs. If you don’t see anything on this list that you’d like to do or donate, don’t worry. The game staff is always prepared to accept any appropriate donations that a player makes. To evaluate the relative value of donations, the game staff uses this formula: Cash donations receive 1 Service Learnin’ per 5 dollars; new, or like-new, materials receive 1 Service Learnin’ per 10 dollars of value; and well-used materials receive 1 Service Learnin’ per 15 dollars of value the item had when new. Particularly important or special donations may receive additional Service Learnin’ Don't forget to bring your receipt! Current Needs (Items in bold reflect greater needs) **We need $5 bills! Anyone who can get some printed, please contact us! **Rubber Bands, size 33 (yellows). Our main priority is size 125 bands (blues) and size 32 (red). Link **Trap phys reps - squeakers and other noise-makers that are easy for Staff to set up. Accessories! Pouches, bags, gloves, ties, bandanas, belts - unique western/Victorian items to make those important NPCs look good! Native costuming! Simple clothes in larger sizes that can be worn by NPCs. Also accessories such as headbands, jewelry, etc. Leather vests, fringed clothing, beaded vests, headdresses, etc. GOOD EVENT PICTURES! Send us every picture you take at an Exiles event and we'll award learnin', but for every top-quality shot, additional Service Learnin’ will be awarded. Celestial costuming! Robes and other themed items for our NPCs. Imperial costuming and steampunk accessories. Victorian vests, goggles, bustles, clockwork gloves and more! Promote Exiles! For each new player you bring to the game, you get 5 service learnin'! Please note you must physically bring them or directly facilitate their arrival. Also, hanging fliers and doing other promotional activity is sure to bring rewards! We can always use good western clothes in larger sizes!! Bow phys reps (we only need 1 or 2 of these) Hats, Hats, and more Hats: Top hats, Bowlers, and Cowboy hats are currently most important. We're looking for hats that are size 7 5/8 and above. Imperial Military Hats. Large or XL
preferred. They need to look very similar to this example: Rubber band guns: Rifles & Shotguns. We're mostly looking for nicer ones made out of wood. Guns made from plastic toys will be on a case by case basis if at all. |
