Service Learnin’ is Learnin’, or game build, that’s awarded for providing services to Exiles, such as making donations, helping during events, or otherwise meeting the needs of the game and the game staff. Exiles is a non-profit organization, so it’s very helpful when the player base works to support the game. Does Service Learnin’ affect my Character’s Learnin’ Total? Unfortunately not. Service Learnin’ is added directly to a player’s Learnin’ Bank, which is a record of the Learnin’ that a player has earned through game-play with any character. The game staff rewards service in this way to preserve game balance. However, increasing your Learnin’ Bank is an excellent way to gain access to Tier 1, 2, and 3 Persona characters, or buy access to hidden skills! The game staff’s needs are always changing, but you can check back here to find an updated list of the game staff’s most pressing needs. If you don’t see anything on this list that you’d like to do or donate, don’t worry. The game staff is always prepared to accept any donations that a player makes. To evaluate the relative value of donations, the game staff uses this formula. Cash donations receive 1 Service Learnin’ per 5 dollars, new, or like-new materials receive 1 Service Learnin’ per 10 dollars of value, and well-used materials receive 1 Service Learnin’ per 15 dollars of value (when new). Particularly important or special donations may receive additional Service Learnin’ Current Needs: Hats, Hats, and more Hats: Top hats, Bowlers, and Cowboy hats are currently most important. We're looking for hats that are size 7 5/8 and above. Emperial Military Hats. Large or XL
preferred. They need to look very similar to this example: Rubber Bands, size 32 and 125. Size 33 (yellows) will be accepted as well although we don't need as many. Our main priority is size 125 bands (blues) and size 32 (red). Link GOOD EVENT PICTURES! Send us every picture you take at an Exiles event, but for every top-quality shot, 1 Service Learnin’ will be awarded. Rubber band guns: Rifles & Shotguns. We're mostly looking for nicer ones made out of wood. Guns made from plastic toys will be on a case by case basis if at all. Leather Belts and Holsters!! We definitely need more of these. Preferably size 38 waist and above (we stress above) You can typically go to E-Bay for this type of thing to get the most competative prices. Any usable holster of decent quality will produce extra Service Learnin' above the cost of the item! Priority Items
